Dummy driver

Driver configuration

Synopsis

dmxdummy in_universes=<num> out_universes=<num> loopback=0,0,1,...

Usage

After the universes are created a set of proc-entries are created by the driver. They are proc/dmxdummy/in[0..N] and proc/dmxdummy/out[0..N]. They give read/write access to the data of the created universes. You can use dmxconsole to see the state of the universe. This can be used to input data into an input universe with dmxconsole, e.g. dmxconsole --dmx /proc/dmxdummy/in0.

The files in proc/dmxdummy/ with the c postfix output the universe slots as hex-numbers. Those files are read-only.
