VMware Server Linux Kernel patchesThese are patches for the VMware Server 2.0.2 for Linux kernels. I have created these from various sources found on the internet to make the VMware Server 2.0.2 Linux kernel modules compile on a Debian and Ubuntu host. My patches are based on the work by Radu Cotescu. DebianUse vmware-server-2.0.2-kernel-2.6.32.tar.gz to install VMware Server 2.0.2 64bit on a Debian 6.0 64bit (Squeeze). UbuntuUse vmware-server-2.0.2-kernel-3.0.tar.gz to install VMware Server 2.0.2 64bit on an Ubuntu 11.10 Server 64bit. |
