XMMS patchesI have written some patches for XMMS. The patches for xmms 1.2.9 can be applied to 1.2.10 as well. ID3v1 Copy/PasteThe ID3v1 Dialog includes copy and paste buttons which let you copy the ID3 tag to several mp3 files. ID3v1 Year BugIf the comment field in a ID3v1 tag starts with digits, the year value gets wrong. This patch fixes this bug. This is fixed in 1.2.11 Ordered Files in PlaylistWhen adding new directories they are always inserted at the end of the current playlist, although they are ordered internally. This patch will reorder the whole playlist alphabetically. Numbers in PlaylistThe playlist number at the front of each row is now shown with
prefixed zeros (001, 002). Enhanced random playback in playlistEnhances the randomness in the playlist. This is fixed in 1.2.11 New .wav Input pluginAdds support for 8,12,16,24,32bit pcm and 32,64bit float .wav files. Persistant playtimeMaintains the time of the currently played song upon xmms exit and
resumes playback at the some position/time upon xmms startup. However
it currently does not work with all audio formats (ogg vorbis does not work). other patchespatches from the gentoo people. And I have prepared a tarball with many from the gentoo patches, the resample patch and my patches ready to be used with xmms 1.2.10 and the quilt tool. further readingHave a look at my xmms tips. |
