wavshaper

wavshaper amplifies a .wav file according to the siluette read from an image file.

Creation of a .wav is rather simple and currently needs help of the build system. The picture has to be in the csource fileformat saved by gimp as RGB or RGBA type, but containing only black and white colors. However gimp 2.2.9 can not load any .c files, so be sure to have a copy of your picture in a different fileformat around.

Then either name your input files picture.c and basis.wav or use some environment variables to start make:
PIC=foo.c WAV=phatt.wav make

Note that you can't install the programs siluette and wavshaper and use arbitrary pictures and samples, because the data is compiled into these programs. Correct dependencies for building are automagically handled by the Makefile.
